I filled all the interior spaces on the cockpit walls with urethane foam and them applied one layer of 10oz boat cloth with nice radius corners filled with flox. This should keep the noise level down as well as make all the joints a little stronger.
A few pictures of the NACA ducts for fresh air inlets. With the urethane foam already behind the plywood skin all I had to do was remove a section of plywood and contour the foam and glass. Worked pretty slick!
It was one of those days when I had to turn the fuselage around so I paused for a brief photo shoot. Finally this thing is starting to look like a flying machine
