Here is the fuselage sitting in its new home. I leased a hanger at Chino airport in Chino California. As you can see more filling and sanding have been done on the upper decks and the stub wings are now done.
The wings are on!! Woo Hoo! You can see the wing construction in more detail on the Wings Page. I built a cradle that bolts to the engine mount rails which allows just two people to flip the airplane over. The airplane was on her back for almost a month as I filled, sanded and primed the entire underneath.
Back on her feet again. I have the large polystyrene blocks glued to the ends of the wings which will eventually become wing tips. I like carving and shaping polystyrene foam a lot better than urethane.

The T-18 nose bowl I plan to use because the stock KR engine cowling would not fit over the O290 Lycoming.
